If you’ve come to the Big Apple to hear good jazz music, especially played by someone who is considered as a jazz saxophonist legend, then you’ll have to drop by 133rd Street. Who used to play regular jazz saxophone music at the popular St. Nick’s Pub will be now frequently sighted at his very own Jazz bar, which usually becomes full during weekends; hence, advance reservation is recommended.

Styled after the speakeasies and jazz joints of 1920s and '30s Harlem, Bill Saxton serves up real jazz and tells the story of the history of the original "Swing Street".  Billie Holiday, Willie "The Lion" Smith, and Mae West, Langston Hughes, and "Moms" Mabley, who all strolled, sang, and played their ways down W133rd, and yes - even #148, are all characters in this amazing chapter in Harlem history… Bill performs every Friday night, doors open at 8:30PM for 2 shows at 9 and 11.
