  7. Changing of the guard at the Palacio del Gobierno – The daily noon time event presents a colourful display of uniforms, plumed hats, and high-kicking goose steps.
  8. Cathedral de Lima – Originally constructed in 1555, it has been destroyed by natural causes many times and rebuilt throughout its history.
  9. Larco museum – Housed in a former mansion, the museum offers a varied collection including metal artifacts, ceramic textiles, and mummies.
  10. Larcomar – Check out the sea walk and the multi-level entertainment district chock-full of shopping opportunities and great restaurants
