Take Witness of the Rise of Hong Kong in a Memorable Asian Vacation

Aside from well off travelers coming from China’s mainland, Hong Kong also attracts a huge number of visitors who come from different parts of the globe.

Billed as Asia’s World City, you’d distinguish how Hong Kong has effectively taken in the various influences and culture of different people. Even Daily Mail UK Travel writer Robert Hardman couldn’t help but appreciate the modern beauty and diverse culture of this ex-British Colony during a recent vacation here (“East Meets the Best: Bright, Buzzing and Barmy, Hong Kong is Still on a High”).

Here’s a quick excerpt of his travel article:

There is little point hiring a car or seeking somewhere ‘quiet and out of the way’ in Hong Kong. Just get into a cab or onto an underground train and plonk yourself slap bang in the centre — somewhere between the bars of Wan Chai and the gleaming malls of Central… From here, everything is within easy and affordable reach. First, take the funicular tram to the top of Victoria Peak to get your bearings. Then, set off on a retail expedition like no other… We started amid the designer outlets in the snazzy IFC Mall and then walked up to the hustle and bustle along Queen’s Road… From there, we continued along the Mid-Levels outdoor escalator which has transformed an entire chunk of Hong Kong. At half-a-mile, it is the world’s longest escalator, and many commute along it.
