Appreciate the World of Animals at the Cologne Zoo

The Cologne Zoo in Germany is one of the oldest, and still yet one of the most modern zoological gardens of all, renowned nationally and world-wide as a top tier zoo. It was virtually destroyed in World War II, and had to close its doors for two entire years before re-opening. Since that time, the zoo has flourished, and now boasts some of the most modern facilities in the world, housing over 10,000 animals of more than 700 species, from all over the world.
